Havyn is an early stage startup building a trusted marketplace for Nigeria's social and informal commerce economy. We are looking for one of our first growth hires, someone excited by the challenge of helping build a company from the ground up. This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a polished marketing machine. We are looking for someone who enjoys experimenting, moving quickly, and figuring things out. You will work directly with the founders to shape our growth strategy, test new ideas, and help answer one of the biggest questions every marketplace faces: how do we acquire buyers and sellers at scale? What you'll do • Develop and execute creative buyer and seller acquisition strategies. • Build relationships with vendors and onboard them to Havyn. • Lead community, influencer, campus, and grassroots marketing initiatives. • Discover and experiment with unconventional distribution channels. • Plan and execute physical outreach to markets, vendors, and small businesses. • Work closely with the founders to analyze experiments, iterate quickly, and drive growth. Who we're looking for • Someone who deeply understands Nigerian internet culture and how young people discover products and communities. • Active on platforms like X, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram, and emerging online communities. • Creative, resourceful, and obsessed with growth. • Comfortable talking to people, building relationships, and selling a vision. • Excited by the uncertainty and pace of an early stage startup. • Thrives with ownership and is motivated by building something from zero. We care far more about curiosity, execution, and hustle than years of experience.
